How Did I Get Here, And Where Is The Next Turn?

Greetings and salutations to all who deem this worthy of your time...

And It Continues...

I met with my doctor today. The date for my surgery is all set, and much sooner than I expected. We also hit a snag. Apparently, due to some things suspected and confirmed by the C T scan, I have to have the old fashioned surgery, not the robot. It means more time in the hospital, and more time recovering. It also means more chance of infection, a lot more discomfort, and more time of taking it easy. I hate hospitals, hate not being able to drive for two weeks, and most of all, BEING TOLD WHAT I CAN AND CAN NOT DO!!!!

They gave all sorts of charming instructions on what to eat and not eat the two days or so before. The day before consists of no food at all, and some very disgusting things that must be done. If you ever had abdominal surgery, or, according to the BFF, a colonoscopy, you know what I mean. It's going to a bitch, even before they frigging cut me open.

I keep reminding myself that, also according to the BFF, I get lots of great drugs. I get to spend time, for the first time, legally stoned. As I told the Punk, I apologize ahead of time for any retarded or goofy thing I may say and/or do during my time of pain and 'forced' high. I am actually looking forward to that bit!! HEHEHEHEHE!!

If anyone wants to send flowers, cards, cash, strip o grams, chocolate, etc, I'll be at the Methodist German Town Hospital. HEHEHE! Facebook message me for the dates. Or, just message me here with your good wishes. It really is much, much sooner than expected. To be honest,I am really relieved that I can finally see an end in sight. The surgery will be the end of the cancer, and I can finally get back to getting ready for bungee jumping...
